LF Mesmer interrupt tips/guide
The Title says it all: I need tips or a complete guide for Interrupting in PVP. Mainly in HA, but also in RA and AB.
Greetings

Interrupter builds are nothing new and amazing really, and what you listed is some of the normal considerations for one. Obviously, you want those interrupts that you listed.
Now if you are new to interruption, or depending on your opponent, you should consider investing just a lil into Illusion magic and taking Arcane Conundrum.
Alternatively you could do Domination, Illusion, Inspiration, and get Migraine + Conjure Phantasm for degen and slower Cast, as well as a protection hex for Migraine. Then go with your Interrupt setup, and possibly one or two Inspiration skills.
I would advise taking atleast Arcane Conundrum since it sounds like its your first stab at this type of build. Slow em down, then wreak havoc

Well, In my opinion interrupting can be alot about predicting when your opponent is going to use a skill so just pay attention to what is going on around you, for example : If the opposing Monk / Rit whatever is being abused by your melee then they will likely use Guardian , Aegis , Weapon of warding etc. Or if they are loaded with conditions / hexes they will try to remove them (Doesn't really count in ha as most teams will have the other healer removing their conditions) But alot of the time people are very predictable, use this to your advantage. Also Hexes like Arcane conundrum as mentioned above are useful aswell, Good reflexes are always helpful aswell ofc :P
Edit: Also In ab it shouldn't be too hard, most people here are more predictable than the AI, plus it's filled with Meteor shower eles :P
Good luck

Yes. Both of these are really good tips, ive practiced on master of healing for hours now ;O and my target casting bar is huge, really helps alot.
Interruping 3/4 cast might take some practice if you're new to interrupts. You can also familiarise yourself with the animations of spells and interrupt that way too.
If you are planning on interrupting with a mesmer, then practice on a ranger, when you switch back to mes it feels a whole lot easier. I also practice 0.5 interrupts! i migraine my guildy and he uses rof/patient spirit ^^ then 3/4's feel easy :P
ping is a huge factor too, amber ping can be a nightmare ;S

Little tip: learn to time an int when a monk is getting up after a KD; you can hit 1/4 casts easily with practice.
